Our Team

Todd Steele is currently Managing Partner of Simon Equity Partners, the
private investment arm of the Simon family, founders of Simon Property Group
(NYSE: SPG), the largest publicly-traded real estate company in the United
States.

Based in San Francisco, Simon Equity specializes in non-control $2
to $10 million equity investments in dynamic consumer and retail lifestyle
brands. From 2004 to 2006, Steele served as Chief Financial Officer for WPT
Enterprises, Inc. creators of the World Poker Tour. Steele helped grow WPT
Enterprises from a small production company to a publicly-traded diversified
media concern.

Prior to joining the WPT Enterprises, Steele served as a
financial executive for Sony Pictures Digital, where he helped lead the
launch of the Sony Media Software division. Prior to his tenure with Sony
Pictures, Steele served as Chief Financial Officer for PlanetRx.com, Inc., a
high-profile public company in the online retail space. Steele has also
served in a variety of financial capacities for blue-chip companies such as
American Express and the New York Times Company. Additionally, as a
financial consultant, Steele has provided strategic guidance to a variety of
startup companies in the entertainment, biotechnology, and manufacturing
fields.

Steele began his career as an audit professional with Ernst and
Young, LLP and earned his B.A. degree in Business Economics from UCLA.
